Taking cues from the Renaissance,  this shoot marries ornate textiles with modern silhouettes to introduce the rebirth of an antiquated style.  Layered pieces and a combination of sheers and metallics add dimension and visual interest. The models are “gilded” with gold ornamentation and dressed in a palette of muted jewel tones.  Photographed in dynamic poses inspired by the art of neoclassicism, the two girls are caught in the midst of a one-sided love affair. “Cold Stone Love” imagines the unrequited-love of the viewers with the still, unfeeling art.
