BALANCE
A two piece look made as a collaboration between Tailoring and Computer Aided Design (CAD) classes. This look takes inspiration from the asymmetry that has become increasingly common in modern and futuristic architecture. The jacket is made with a combination of a navy plaid and a subtle herringbone. The asymmetrical collar draws the solid blue onto the plaid side of the jacket, and the back includes panels of both fabrics. Patch and welt pockets add to the asymmetry, and hand done button holes add detail on the front and sleeves.
The pants have a seam down the middle of both legs, and an asymmetrical hem. On the inside of each pant leg is a panel of the jacket's plaid. Strips once again made of plaid wrap around the outside of the pant legs.
