Before "Person of the Year," Time Magazine labeled that award "Man of the Year."  In 1975, Time Magazine named American Women as Man of the Year.  This was the catalyst for Dichotomy.  Powerful women of the 1970s helped push forward a new wave of thought, and in doing so influenced history.  This collection is based on the idea that men and women are equal, and takes cues from tailored menswear.  To advance this collection past the typical women's "power dressing," architectural details are incorporated.  Asymmetry, linear elements, and layering gives this collection a push past the expected menswear inspiration found in women suits.
